Karma Healthcare uses a hybrid telemedicine model to provide affordable, reliable and quality primary healthcare to base of pyramid communities in rural India – a model that is inherently scalable and replicable.

Karma Healthcare is envisioning a future where patients in remote corners have access to best in class health services.

The world is turning increasingly digital and urban, yet, nearly 70% of India’s citizens live in villages. Rural India remains largely poor, lacking in infrastructure, education and healthcare. However, digital penetration is fast becoming ubiquitous and has proven to be a great equalizer. The rural healthcare problem has been accentuated by fewer doctors willing to practice in villages. Over the years, the gap has largely been bridged by a few inexperienced doctors and by quacks, resulting in disastrous outcomes.
